Utah’s Art City
First explored by Father Escalante, a Jesuit missionary-explorer, who was tasked with finding a route from Santa Fe to Monterey. This task led him to Utah Valley and what the community of ‘Springville.
Located on the East bench of the Wasatch Mountains, just south of Provo, Springville is known as “Art City,” with a vibrant art scene and the Springville Museum of Art which features many local artists.
You wont want to miss Springville’s Summerfest—Art City Days—with activities ranging from a parade, hot air balloons, contests and more.
In Autumn, go explore Jaker’s Pumpkin Patch and take a hay ride, visit the petting zoo, corn maze, and pick out your own pumpkin. Or explore the beauties of Hobble Creek Canyon on the one of the many trails.

Quiet Bedroom Community
Nestled against the foothills of Maple Mountain between Springville to the north and Spanish Fork to the left, Mapleton is known for its quiet neigbhorhoods. Mapleton received its name from the groves of black maple trees found at the mouth of Maple Canyon.
Mapleton is a unique community with the advantage of having 60% of its land still undeveloped. Mapleton's atmosphere is warm and welcoming because residents and visitors enjoy open space, spectacular views, and in general a beautiful setting. The current population is approximately 6,500.
Mapleton’s Summerfest is called Pioneer Days and typically falls on the third week of July.
