Most towns in Utah Valley started as pioneer settlements. Not Eagle Mountain. It started as a federal military post in 1858. Eagle Mountain was incorporated in 1996 as one of Utah’s first planned communities and is by sheer size (forty-two square miles) the third largest community in Utah.
The Pony Express also came through this area. Eagle Mountain City summer fest is names in its honor—Pony Express Days Festival is the first week of every June.
Want to enjoy the great outdoors? Eagle Mountain boasts an extensive trail system and parks including Pony Express Skate Park and Mountain Ranch Bike Park.
With a population of over 20,000 Eagle Mountain is growing and growing smart. Nearly every home in Eagle Mountain has access to fiber-optic internet connections.
